Charming Local Pub with Room for Improvement
On a recent stay, we enjoyed the lovely ambiance and warmth of locals visiting this pub. The room was decent, but the dinner options lacked vegetarian choices, forcing us to venture elsewhere. Breakfast was delightful, with attentive staff.

Lovely stay with a welcoming atmosphere
We had a delightful overnight stay, enhanced by friendly staff who made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and equipped with excellent coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was freshly prepared with a good variety, making it a great way to start the day. the area had some ongoing refurbishment which made the outside a bit less appealing and cut down on natural light in the room.

Delightful Stay with Tasty Pub Fare
Our one-night getaway was truly memorable! We enjoyed a delightful lunch on the sun-soaked terrace. The staff radiated warmth and friendliness, and the food—especially the massive Yorkshire pudding—was a highlight. Future guests should definitely try the afternoon sports on TV while savoring dinner. Perfect for couples!

Brighter lighting along the stairs would be helpful.

Highly recommend for a comforting escape
the room was spacious and had a fridge, which was great for my drinks and snacks. also, the staff was super friendly, like when the barman took time to chat and make you feel at home.
it was a bit pricey but worth it.

missingWrote a review on 26 Augspacious roomconvenient fridgefriendly staffnoisy environmentdated facilities
The stay was quite disappointing overall. While the room was spacious and had a fridge, which was convenient, the environment around the hotel was very noisy, especially being located over a main road. The lack of dinner options was frustrating, as we arrived expecting to relax with a meal but were sent to a local chip van that had run out of food. The bathroom facilities also could use significant improvement, as it felt dated and in need of attention.

The charming decor and cozy fireplace made me feel right at home. The delightful retro vibe of the rooms was particularly inviting, and accessibility was well-considered for those who may need it.
More clear dinner options for seniors would help.
